Campaign Code of Conduct

Our Goal

Everyone involved in the Kurt for Kirkland campaign should feel respected, safe, and valued. This Code outlines how we expect everyone participating – the candidate, volunteers, and any contractors – to treat each other. By participating, you agree to follow these standards.

Expected Conduct

  • Respect: Treat everyone with courtesy, professionalism, and respect, even when opinions differ.

  • Inclusivity: Help create a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds.

  • Focus: Keep focused on the campaign's mission and goals.

Unacceptable Conduct

The campaign has zero tolerance for:

  • Harassment: Including unwelcome sexual advances, comments, or any behavior that creates a hostile environment.

  • Discrimination: Treating anyone unfairly based on age, race, color, religion, sex, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or relationship status.

  • Bullying & Intimidation: Threats, aggression, or actions intended to intimidate or harm others (physically or emotionally).

  • Disruptive Behavior: Actions that significantly disrupt campaign activities or harm the campaign's reputation.

Candidate Accountability

Kurt Dresner is fully committed to and bound by this Code of Conduct.
