Kirkland has long been a leader in the Puget Sound Region. We protected public access to our beautiful waterfront. We legalized middle housing. We established a coordinated and compassionate response to homelessness and behavioral health. We have led on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging - making Kirkland a more safe and welcoming place for everyone.

But Kirkland’s best days are still ahead! This year, our city faces a test as to whether we want to continue leading the way. I believe we are ready to embrace a future where everyone in our community can thrive. We have the opportunity to build on our successes, to boldly address our challenges, and to create an even brighter future for Kirkland. I am committed to leading with vision, determination, and a deep understanding of what makes our city great.
